Fair use policy

When we say unlimited, we mean it. This page explains exactly what that covers, so there are no surprises — from us or from you.

What's unlimited

On any paid plan, none of this is metered or counted:

  • Chatting with Hattie — as much as you like, every day
  • Blog posts, documents, emails, offers and social captions
  • Website copy, and editing your site by just asking
  • Rebuilding your website from scratch whenever you want a fresh direction

What still uses credits

Only AI-generated images, because they genuinely cost us money per image. Your plan includes a monthly allowance, and you can top up or upgrade if you need more. As automated actions arrive — publishing social posts, sending campaigns — those will use credits too, and we'll always say so clearly before you spend one.

Where the line is

"Unlimited" means unlimited normal use by one business. We've set the bar deliberately high: run your business through Veluma as hard as you like and you will not hit it. Realistically, this policy only ever applies to:

  • Automated or scripted use — bots, scrapers, or anything hitting Veluma programmatically
  • Reselling Veluma's output as a service to third parties
  • Sharing one account across separate businesses (each business needs its own workspace)
  • Deliberately wasteful use — for example looping rebuilds with no intention of using the result

We'll talk to you first

If your usage ever looks unusual, we will get in touch and work it out with you. We will not silently throttle your account, bill you for overages you didn't agree to, or cut off a live website without warning. Your site stays up and your data stays yours while we sort it out.

We may need to update this policy as Veluma grows. If we make a material change, we'll tell existing customers before it takes effect.
